Itinerary

Day 01:  Guwahati - Local Sight Seeing Guwahati

On arrival at Guwahati (GAU) Airport / Guwahati Railway Station & transfer to your pre-booked hotels, fresh up then proceed to visit amakhya temple - The temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya, an incarnation of Sati. It is on Nilanchal hill, says the Shiva Purans that the yoni or creative organ of Sati fell when Vishnu, in a bid to save the world from the Shiva's tandava nrittya or dance of destruction, cut her dead body into 51 pieces with his suddarshan chakra. Also visit Navagraha temple, Umananda temple, Balaji Temple, state Zoo. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
 
Day 02:  Guwahati –Shillong (4 nights) (Approx 130 Kms, 4 hrs drive)

After breakfast transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called 'Scotland of the East". Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.
  
Day 03:  Shillong – Cherrapunjee– Shillong (Approx 60Kms ,  2hrs-One way)

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight stay at Shillong.
 
Day 04:  Shillong – Dawki & Mawlynnong – Shillong (Approx 90 kms /3 hrs one way)

After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.
 
Day 05:  Shillong – Kaziranga  (Approx 325Kms ,  7hrs)

After early breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Upon arrival at Kaziranga check in at hotel. Evening free for self activity. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
 
Day 06:  Kaziranga Jeep Safari ( Elephent Ride )

Early Morning go for 1 Hour Elephant ride. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari ( at own expense) in the Central Range. Later enjoy Local Village and Tea Garden (Outer View) tour. Overnight at Kaziranga..
Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam and is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora and fauna. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari (at own expense) in the Central Range. Later enjoy Local Village and Tea Garden (Outer View) tour. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Note - Permit for Elephant Ride & Jeep Safari will be subjected to the approval of Forest department.
 
Day 07:  Kaziranga – Guwahati (Approx 210 Kms , 05 Hrs Drive )

• Kaziranga Stay on Jungle Plan includes 02 Jungle safari per day, 01 safari in the morning and 01 safari in the afternoon.(N.B: Elephant Ride is subject to availability from the Forest Dept.) All Park entrance fees
• All transfer & Sightseeing by using an A/C and non A/C Vehicle as per itinerary on point to point basis (not on disposal) the vehicle will keep on changing as per sectore.AC in vehicle will not be allowed in Hills.

• Any extra expense such as Route change, Accommodation facilities etc incurred due to any unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeure circumstances during the tour
• Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, wines & alcoholic beverages, mineral water (unless specified), items of personal nature and food and drink which is not part of set group menu
• Any extra cost incurred on behalf of any individual due to illness, accident, hospitalization or any personal emergency
• Any services or activity charges other than those included in the itinerary
• Difference in cost arising due to extra usage of additional services, changes in taxes by Government or political unrest, natural calamities (Land slide/ road blockage) etc. in such case extra will have to be paid on the spot by guest.

• If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated hereunder.
• Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation
• Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
• Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
• Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.
